President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived in Doha on Monday in course of a four-day official visit to Qatar.
The Minister for Development, Social Security and Labour of Qatar as well as Nepali Ambassador to Qatar, Ramesh Prasad Koirala, welcomed President Bhandari at the Hamad International Airport.
President Bhandari is leading a Nepali delegation on a visit to Qatar at the friendly invitation of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Aamir of Qatar.
Following the welcome, President Bhandari left for Hotel Sheraton, where she will be staying during the visit.
Also today, the Nepali Embassy in Qatar is scheduled to host a dinner reception in honour of President Bhandari.
