Butwal-Shankar Pokhrel has been reappointed as the Chief Minister of Lumbini Province.
Province Chief Dharmanath Yadav appointed Pokhrel as the Chief Minister in accordance with Article 168 (1) of Constitution of Nepal.
Prior to this, Pokhrel had submitted a list of majority of lawmakers from the Province to the Province Chief Yadav claiming majority on his side, Spokesperson of Province Chief Office Chiranjibi Poudel said in a statement.
