Kathmandu-Udayapur Cement Company has made Rs 490 million in profit in the last three months, which is almost equal to the income made in the first six months of the current fiscal year.
The company made Rs 520 million in profit in the first six months of the current fiscal year by selling nearly 700,000 sacks of cement.
However, with the appointment of Gopi Neupane as the company’s General Manager, the sale crossed 660,000 bags in 100 days.
The officials shared that the company has increased its productions as well as income in the last three months.
Company’s Information Officer Laxman Prasad Pokhrel the company released almost Rs 490 million of its liabilities for different topics.
Likewise, the company released Rs 220 million for Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) in the same period, which was pending for longtime.
The incumbent management of the company has made arrangements for the unhindered operation of the factory.
