Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Ishwor Pokharel has called upon all the political parties to be united for the campaign of building a prosperous Nepal brought by the government.
Speaking in a greetings exchange programme organized today by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 4 on the occasion of the Bijaya Dashami, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat 1139 and Chhath Parba, he urged all to work for building a prosperous Nepal along with economic development.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested celebrating the festivals to protect the social goodwill in the country characterized by multi-ethnicity, multi-language communities, customs and traditions.
Provincial assembly member of Province No. 3, Narayan Silwal, stressed that the people’s representatives of all three levels should work as per the aspirations of the people. KMC Ward No. 4 chairman Mohan Bahadur Bista mentioned about the various local development works carried out by his office.
