Chairman of the CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, has said country would get communist system with robust government of leftist forces after the coming elections.
Beginning the joint election campaign of the UML and Maoist Centre from Palungtar of the district Wednesday, Chairman Oli proclaimed, “Communist system is almost hovering. It’s sure after election. Nepali Congress will fizzle out.”
Referring to Naya Shakti Party Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai, he observed that it was very difficult to ensure development and prosperity by aligning with the hoary tree, the election symbol of Nepali Congress.
Similarly, candidate from the leftist alliance from Gorkha-2, Narayan Kaji Shrestha also emerged satirical toward Dr Bhattarai, saying axe was not needed to finish off a feeble plant.
Baburam lacks moral ground to seek votes: Dahal
Addressing the joint gathering, Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, said no other parties would raise heads before leftist alliance in the district.
Chairman Dahal argued that Dr Bhattarai, who is a candidate from the democratic alliance, has no moral ground at all to seek votes.
“Nepali Congress people from Chitwan 3 and Gorkha 2 should vote for Maoist candidates because the late GP Koirala had told me to conclude the peace process. So, in order to materialize that task, NC needs to vote for Maoist party.”
