CPN (UML)’s Gopi Khanal has been elected as the head of the Kohalpur Municipality’s ward no 1.
Khanal garnered 509 votes to win the election. His closest contender from CPN (Maoist Centre) received 344 votes while Nepali Congress candidate trailed behind with 280 votes.
