CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has blamed the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-Maoist Centre’s leaders for deferring the second phase of local level election for province no 2 that was going to be held on June 28 along with in province no 1, 5 and 7.
Addressing an electoral assembly at Bhimduttanagar in Kanchanpur district on Sunday, leader Nepal claimed that the NC and CPN-MC deferred the election date for province no 2 to September 18 in the pretext of bringing on board the Rastriya Janata Party.
Stating that there was no need to defer the election in province no 2, the former Prime Minister argued that the local level election could be conducted in all seven provinces at a go but due to the fear of conceding defeat in certain provinces, the NC and CPN-MC chose to conduct the election at different phases.
Nepal was of the opinion that the NC and CPN-MC were trying to delay the June 28’s election as a whole.
Saying that the voters should evaluate the right party and right candidates, Nepal, he asserted that it’s high time to make solid decisions to take forward the province no 7. RSS
