President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended best wishes to all Nepali living at home and abroad on the special occasion of the Holi/Fagu poornima today. She has wish that the festival will help maintain social harmony, tolerance and national unity among the Nepalis.
In a message issued today, the President has stressed on peace and prosperity to all, while also noting that the festival could help further promote cultural tourism in the country. The festival of colours, is being celebrated with much fanfare in hilly areas, including the capital city, today, while tomorrow in the Terai region.
