Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the new generation to honestly perform the duty because the present youths would be at the helms of future leadership.
During meeting with the trainees from eight countries including Nepal affiliated to Rastriya Sewa Dal at his residence on Tuesday, PM Oli said discipline is the measuring principle of the youths. “All of us have common goal for golden future. For this, citizens should be disciplined and educated,” he stressed.
He reminded that the decade-long conflict was concluded with dialogue and discussion, and new constitution written and promulgated from the Constituent Assembly in Nepal. The conduct of three-tier elections is another achievement ending the political transition, so it was not necessary for anyone to wage struggle for democratic rights. Attention is needed now for prosperity, he viewed, adding that Rastriya Sewa Dal could be a medium to help country achieve economic progress and prosperity.
The head of the government further argued that there was no option than to internalize the maximum of use of science and technology as per the time.
Under the youth exchange programme, there is a tradition that the heads of the State and of government hold discussion with the trainees of the Rastriya Sewa Dal.
