President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Pashupati Murarka, has said that major political parties should carry out self-review of their role and behaviour, and prioritize the economic agenda for creating more employment in the country by stopping the trend of agitation, strike in the industries.
Inaugurating the golden jubilee of the Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its 50th annual general meeting, FNCCI President Murarka said that political parties should forge consensus for economic prosperity by creating environment conducive for establishing multi-national companies in the country.
On the occasion, he honoured journalist Hari Humagain, Rubesh Dulal, Dharmendra Dahal and Sujan Bidari with the ‘Active Journalism Award’ established by Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in memory of MCCI former president late Premlal Shrestha. The award carries a purse of Rs 10,000 and a shawl.
MCCI President Raj Kumar Neupane said that the MCCI has forwarded its programme to put construction of Hetauda-Kathmandu tunnel route in government priority. RSS
