Kathmandu- RSS journalist Dilip Prasad Sharma has been bereaved of his father. Dilli Prasad Sharma, 83, a permanent resident of Amalachaur of Baglung Municipality-12, passed away on Friday morning.
He was receiving treatment for pneumonia at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
The Sharma senior had long experience in teaching. He had a Master’s degree in English and Sanskrit literature and retired as the District Education Officer.
He is credited for establishing the Prithvi Secondary School at his hometown Amalachaur and for implementing the higher education classes at the school. He had several write-ups including articles and poems in his name.
Sharma senior is survived by his spouse and seven sons. According to the family source, his last rites are to be conducted at the Jamainighat of Baglung today itself.
