Rampur: One Dhan Bahadur Lamtari of Tallo Tal of Ribdikot Rural Municipality-6 in Palpa has died after being shot with a loaded gun.
According to the District Police Office, Karna Bahadur Lamtari, 56, fired from a muzzleloader targeting a jackal spotted in a maize field about 100 meters away from his house, but the bullet accidentally hit his son Dhan Bahadur, leaving him dead.
The son was hit by a bullet on his head. Following the accident, police have arrested the father and further investigation is underway. The accident happened at around 6:00 pm on Friday. (RSS)
