Kathmandu- President Bidya Devi Bhandari has, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, summoned a joint session of both the houses of the Federal Parliament for July 18.
The joint session of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly has been called for 4:00 pm on Sunday to be held at the International Convention Centre in New Baneswar, on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal and in accordance with Article 157 (1) of the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.
Similarly, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has, on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, appointed Khamma Bahadur Khati as the new Attorney General of Nepal.
Khati was appointed today in accordance with Article 157 (2) of the Constitution, according to the Office of the President.
