Kathmandu- The government has recommended President Bidya Devi Bhandari to call the meetings of the Federal Parliament at 4:00 pm on July 18.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers convened in Singha Durbar today took the decision to recommend the President to summon the Federal Parliament meeting, Spokesperson of the government and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki shared after the cabinet meeting.
It would be the maiden meeting of the restored House of Representatives (HoR) since the Supreme Court ordered restoration of the HoR that was dissolved for the second time on May 22.
The Supreme Court on July 12 had ordered appointment of Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister and the HoR meeting be summoned within seven days.
