Jaleswar- Two people have died by being struck by a lightning in Manarasiswa municipality today. The deceased have been identified as Prem Shila Devi and Biseswar Raya of ward no. 4 and 5 respecctively in the municipality, according to District Police Office, Mahottari spokesperson DSP Prakash Bista.
The 50-year-old Devi was working in a paddy field near her home when she was struck by lightning while 80-year-old Raya was herding buffaloes near his village. They died on the spot.
