Minister for Forests and Environment Shakti Basnet has urged one and all to preserve the beauty of Rara Lake. Minister Basnet, who reached Rara Lake for a visit today, said that it was the heritage of the nation and not only of Karnali. It should therefore be developed as one of the attractive destinations.
He urged the concerned officials to pay special focus for preserving its beauty. Minister Basnet shared that the federal government will give special focus to develop various infrastructures there.
Prior to this, Minister Basnet had inspected the Shey-Phoksundo National Park on Friday.
