Ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that there was no alternative to the incumbent government.
At a press conference at Touristic village of Sikles in Kaski district on Tuesday, chairman Dahal, also former Prime Minister, added that the government was moving ahead as per public aspiration and mandate.
He argued that the government was working to fulfill the commitments expressed by the party during the election.
On another note, chairman Dahal committed to reaching the peace process to its fruitful end as the country was moving ahead following the mandate of Comprehensive Peace Accord signed between then government and the rebellion CPN (Maoist).
Former Prime Minister Dahal further added that the foreign relations with neighbouring countries were being taken ahead with a new dimension following the formation of a strong government in the country.
Chairman Dahal shared that the upcoming standing committee meeting of the party will finalize the remaining merger process of the party including that of the sister wings and district committees.
