Nepal Press Union is set to mark its 26th anniversary and the conclusion of the silver jubilee year on May 27.
The umbrella organization of Nepal’s democratic journalists had marked the silver jubilee year under the theme ‘Nepal Press Union’s Campaign for Journalist’s Physical and Professional Security and Respectful Identity’. The Union was established on May 27, 1991.
The Press Union Central Secretariat meeting has taken a decision to mark the 26th anniversary and the conclusion of the silver jubilee year with a special programme, Union’s Chairman Badri Sigdel said. RSS
