Province No-4 held its historic first Provincial Assembly meeting in the temporary capital here Monday.
Speaking at the meeting, members of provincial parliament (MPP) committed to making the province number one in development and prosperity.
MPA Prithvi Subba Gurung said that they will not let the chance go away as they have the responsibly to make the province developed and prosperous. He argued that though the province had immense natural resources, it was yet to be industrialized and developed.
Similarly, Krishna Chandra Nepali stressed on good governance so as people could experience democracy.
Hari Bahadur Chuman focused on developing tourism and hydropower in the province. Krishna Thapa opined for stopping foreign encroachment and corruption to make the nation prosperous. Kiran Gurung said that there will be no ruling and opposition in developmental issues.
Likewise, Hari Sharan Acharya, Dobate BK, Netra Nath Adhikari, Srijana Sharma, Lalit Kala Gurung and Gayatri Gurung came with a common voice of making the province developed and prosperous
